Terms
Effective October 14, 2026
These terms describe use of Canopy, a project workspace operated by CapLock Equity Inc. By using Canopy, you agree to use it responsibly and to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the account information you provide and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. You may connect devices and clients only when you are authorized to do so.
Your content
You keep your rights in the notes, tasks, recordings, media, files, and other content you add. You give Canopy permission to host, synchronize, display, and deliver that content as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for content you add or share.
Connected clients
Canopy lets you authorize project-scoped clients, including AI or development tools. You choose the projects and capabilities they can access and can revoke those connections. A connected client may process returned content under its own terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use Canopy to violate law or another person’s rights, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or upload malicious code or content. We may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect users or the service.
Service availability
Canopy is provided as an evolving service. We work to preserve your data and make recovery features available, but service availability, synchronization, and recovery cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance. Keep copies of anything you cannot replace.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Canopy changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to ben@caplock.ai.
